Kalmar lamps

Kalmar chandeliers are a symbol of Austrian elegance and craftsmanship, the fruit of an artisan tradition dating back to the 1880s, when Julius August Kalmar founded the company in Vienna, originally specializing in the production of cast bronze objects. In the 20th century, his son, Julius Theodor Kalmar, breathed modernity into the company after being trained by the renowned Austrian architect and designer Josef Hoffmann. Julius Theodor transformed Kalmar Leuchten by collaborating with internationally renowned architects such as Josef Frank and Clemens Holzmeister (…), giving birth to contemporary and refined creations. Thanks to these collaborations, Kalmar chandeliers have become essential pieces in the world of design, blending tradition and modernity with materials such as bronze, brass, crystal and Murano glass(Ice Glass) to illuminate spaces with sophistication.
