- He is one of the very first industrial designers, like Raymond Loewy, Walter Dorwin Teague and Henry Dreyfuss.
- Ambassador of the Streamline movement (1930-1960), he produced very little furniture and objects, although his book “Horizons” was a reference.
- Original period upholstery, very little wear, tension preserved.
