- Created in Bohemia in 1742, this company has been supplying the great aristocracy from Empress Maria Theresa of Austria to the White House, Louis XV, the Tsars and then the Kremlin and the Turkish Sultans. In 1929, at the International Exhibition in Barcelona, Christoph Palme & Co received the gold medal.
